Here’s a blue bird of happiness!
This retro bird is going out on a limb to bring some birthday joy. She wears a sweet little hat with a bobble flower (looks like she bought it on etsy!) Inside is a vintage birthday greeting printed from a 1930’s block. It reads:
To wish you a Birthday that’s joyous and bright, The kind you would choose for yourself if you might, A day of enjoyment, And gladness, and cheer With good times to follow Straight through the year.
Bird is hand drawn, then carved into linoleum. Image and greeting were hand printed on 100% cotton Cranes Lettra (tree free!) using my 1909 Chandler & Price letterpress. Card comes with dotted blue envelope for extra cuteness.
Card is A4 size- 4.25″ x 5.5″ folded.
